Pastor Ken Geisendorfer
Director for Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, South Korea and South Vietnam.
Ken Geisendorfer and his wife Bev, were married June 21, 1986. They have two children, Jayme and Phillip. They reside in Taylor, MO. Ken has been the pastor of Open Arms Ministries since 1999. He was ordained under Central Pentecostal Ministries of Lynn Haven, Florida in 2004. Ken also fulfills the duties of General Manager for KJIR Radio, 91.7 FM "The Cross", www.kjir.org in Hannibal, MO which is a Southern Gospel radio station.
In February 2001, Ken and Bev sold their construction business so he could be a full time pastor. In October of 2000, at a lumber yard in Quincy, IL, he met an old friend that had with him a missionary to Russia and China whose name is Joel Pledge. Immediately Ken knew that he would go to Russia with this Joel Pledge. He knew that if the church he was pastoring was to be affective then it had to be a mission minded church. Within 6 months of meeting Joel Pledge, Ken had sold their business and moved the church from his home to Quincy, IL and was on a plane to Russia with a man he had only met twice.
Like all young preachers, he thought he was going to Russia to preach, but after meeting B.H. Clendennen and The School of Christ at a 3-day fasting and prayer in Khabarovsk, he shut his Bible and just listened to the truth of God's word through this Man of God. At that very moment he knew that he was to be involved with The School of Christ, and is involved to this very day. Ken was blessed to have traveled with Brother Clendennen to Armenia, Iraq, Cambodia and Vietnam. Ken is now the Director with the School of Christ for Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
