In May of 2007, 28 students from Nicaragua graduated at the Funavid facility. This brought great blessing to all those that were touched by the message of Pentecost.
In June of 2010, Dr. Dodson was very concerned about not seeing progress in the work of The School of Christ in Honduras. Great investment had been made but there were very little results for the harvest for the Lord. Dr Dodson and his wife dedicated a time of prayer to ask God for direction because after almost four years of work, only about 80 students had graduated. These students had been brought to Funavid where the School of Christ was held. A leadership committee traveled from Nicaragua to meet with Dr. Dodson and the pastors in Honduras. These are humble men that long to work for the Lord. We shared what God was doing in Nicaragua and the instructions we believed we had received from heaven, in order to spread this message.
Pastor Juan Angel Lopez, Daniel and Jose Martinez accepted the challenge to believe that they could bring the School to the nation of Honduras. So we began this adventure of faith, having our first graduation in November of 2010 with a group of more than twenty pastors from different cities. We are now spreading throughout the northern territory of the country. This February 21st, a new school began in Funavid with pastors from Tocoa, and we thank God for this. In the coming months, we will be in the following cities: Tocoa, Funavid, Tele, Trujillo, San Pedro Sula, Olancho and San Francisco which is close to the border of El Salvador. We believe that by the end of May, we will have about 15 new schools; having reached about 500 Honduran students touched by the message of the school.
