"The spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek. He hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound."
July 2004
Brother Randy Miller has been teaching the School of Christ in George County Regional Correctional Facility for almost two years now. Brother Miller is a friend of Pastor B. H. Clendennen, Duke Downs, and several others associated with the School Of Christ International. He has helped graduate classes in many other facilities as well.
Here, we have several that are faithful to attend the school. The water baptism was the first at this facility. We only house 300 inmates, but I see God working in this place. We had 17 to participate in the session and the ordinance. This was the fruit of many solid church volunteers and the School of Christ.
Here are some of the Baptism photos, that took place June 25 2004. Were not but 300 capacity but Christ is being taught on a daily basis and much fruit is coming forth. We taught them about an hour class before they were baptized
We are in the process of placing the School of Christ in the big prison at Leakesville, Mississippi which house 3000 inmates. We will have a graduation in the next six months.
Please keep us in your prayers.
